What this site is
Finsight Review is an independent educational publication written by Ewen Robertson, a finance student. Each issue takes one story from the markets and explains the finance behind it. The site also hosts practice tools: a technical question bank, a behavioral interview section, a mock interview, and a few finance games.
Nothing on this site is investment advice. Articles and tools are for learning only.
Privacy
- No accounts and no ads. The site does not ask you to sign in and does not run advertising or ad trackers.
- Your practice data stays on your device. Quiz scores, saved answers, your story bank, and game stats are stored in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to any server. Clearing your browser data removes them.
- Voice answers. If you use the microphone button, your browser's built-in speech recognition turns speech into text. Depending on your browser, that audio may be processed by the browser maker (for example Google in Chrome or Apple in Safari). The site itself does not record or store audio. Typing works everywhere if you prefer not to use the mic.
- Newsletter. Subscriptions are handled by beehiiv. If you subscribe, your email address is stored by beehiiv under their privacy policy, and you can unsubscribe from any issue.
- Fonts. Text fonts load from Google Fonts.
